The mean, add these numbers together, and divide by how many numbers are in the sequence..in this sequence, there are 6 numbers, so add together, and divide by 6.

Median, put them in order, smallest to largest, and find the middle number, if its in between 2 numbers, which it will be in this instance, you need to find the halfway point between these 2 numbers, and add it to the smaller number.

The mean is (-10-7+2+4+14+15)/6 = 18/6 = 3.

The median is the middle value, or in this case the middle two values: 2 and 4.

Or, add 2 and 4 and divide by 2, which is 3.

The mean is equal to the sum of all the numbers divided by how many numbers there are.

Mean = [-10 + (-7) + 2 + 4 + 14 + 15] / 6
Mean = 3

The median is equal to the middle number with an odd number of numbers, and with an even number of numbers it's equal the average of the two middle numbers.

In this case, the two middle numbers are 2 and 4. The median is (2+4) / 2 = 3

First list your values in order

-10,-7,2,4,14,15

You have an even number of entries, so the median is the average of the middle pair: ( 2 + 4 ) / 2 = 3.

The mean is the sum of the values divided by six.
