My teacher either doesnt word her questions right, or I'm just not getting it..

She asks:
What is an autosome? How many autosomes in a human body cell? A human gamete?

My Answer:
An autosome is a chromosome that is not involved in sex determination. There are 22 pairs of autosomes in a human cell, and 1 pair of gametes.

**Could someone tell me if this is what she wanted to hear?

Another question is:

My answer:
A sex chromosome is the X or Y chromosome that determines the sex of a person...(didnt finish)
