I'm in control of me in my life, and I am in control of my reactions to outside circumstances and people. I think that's about the best that anybody can do.

I feel like I am not in control of my life. At the moment I feel detached from life itself and stuck somewhere between the past and now. I don't have any plans since my partner died and I guess I am just taking whatever each day dishes out to me.

Yes you are in control of your life to a certain extent. there are things we can not control and should not attempt to control.
