how to tell the difference between a guy who is genuinely being nice when talking to you, or feeding you a bunch of sweet lines for ulterior motives?
ive been hooking up with a guy and ive been having no problem staying unattached (we get along GREAT but neither wants anything serious right now). BUT he sweet talks me and makes it HARD for me to not fall for it.
He'll say things like...
I just love talking to you, call me anytime..
I have so much when I'm around you.
Hopefully I get to see you again soon...I would love it.
If we went to the same school, I could definitely see us chillin together...
Whats the deal? It's been kind of clear to me that it's purely a chemistry thing. we'll go out together, dance, drink, and hook up. and then talk on the phone later. haha. we have soo much fun, but that's all.
so why does he feel the need to say sweet things and make me interested in perhaps having something more???

You CAN'T tell. Some of us are real, some aren't, and some are really good actors.
Use your instinct. Use your gut. If you've got a bad feeling, then get out - you may be seeing something subconsciously that you can't put your finger on.
Take it from a player.

sounds like he's feeding you lines, but if you want the truth just ask him straight up about it, since it seems like youre comfortable with him anyway.
