You can't force an IUD out of place from too much vomiting. It CAN expel itself...happens about 1 time in 20 insertions.

If you can feel the strings some times and not others, it may be that your uterus is not the right size for the IUD. IUD's come in only one size whereas women come in ALL shapes and sizes. IUDs are NOT a one-size-fits-all device...as much as manufacturers would like you to believe they are.

Mirena also effects menstruation; about 75% of all users will report complete cessation of menses within 12 months...you just seem to be ahead of the curve.

The rest of your symptoms however are VERY worrying. It sounds almost like you have an infection or a really bad case of the flu. I would strongly urge you to get in to be seen by your doctor. While the illness symptoms and the IUD might not be related, they very well could be. You might be suffering from some sort of blood disorder or infection, or even PID. But only a trained medical professional can tell you for sure.

It's very common to not get a period with the mirena, which is part of its attraction. It often moves up in the first few months as it settles into place.
You can get some side effects from the hormones, but I've never heard of any so severe as yours.
Sorry, probably only answer would be to see your Dr.

ok, so as... Your odd classes may well be as a results of having in simple terms had a toddler. it may take extremely a on an analogous time as to adjust. it might additionally be from the Mirena. maximum folk have heavily shorter classes with Mirena. A destructive attempt... nicely, the rule of thumb is "there is that this sort of element as a faux destructive, yet there are actually not any fake positives." The stress of barfing shouldn't stress out your IUD. you're able to not be waiting to experience your strings without attaining up interior your self. they could be so which you would be able to easily experience them with your fingertips. i myself think of you're able to circulate on your OB/GYN and refer to them approximately all this. all of us could have a peculiar and wonderful reaction to something. i'm hoping you're extra effective quickly! Edited to characteristic... and don't pay attention to leat. Your hair does not fall out from maximum cancers, it extremely is from the *scientific care* for many cancers. Hair loss isn't a demonstration of maximum cancers.

The no period could be as a result of adjusting to the Mirena. As for the other symptoms this doesn't sound normal. I would recommend checking with your doctor as well to see what they say.

This does not sound normal to me. Infact it sounds dangerous. I am sure the doctors explained about after effects of the insertion but this goes way beyond what might be side effects. Go see a doctor now. You just became a mom dont be stubborn and wait or your child may grow up without a mom.

I hate being this blunt but we women put our health second to our families all the time. But it should not be this way. Please go see a Doctor.

Seems like you're having an hypersensitive reaction. Time to return to the doc and express your considerations and maybe have it eliminated. It is vitally viable to be allergic to them.
