There's one where you can have 3 periods a year. You can take any BC pill and skip the sugar pill and skip your period each month. However, your body should have a period. It's part of your body regulating itself. Having no period can lead to many problems like osteoporosis and eventually, if you ever want children, you may not be able to because you've messed up your hormones so bad.

I'm not on any pill, but nuvaring. I haven't had my period since starting it in jan. I talked to my dr about it and she said that what I am doing is fine and I should have no side effects in the future. I would suggest talking to your doctor and see what they have to say.

I have done several different brands to try and stop my period one of them being Femcon. Some other brands are Seasonale, Seasonique, and a newer one called Lybrel.

I would recommend checking with your doctor as well to see which brands of pills they recommend to their patients.

If you have additional questions for me please feel free to e-mail or IM me off site any time.

There is none.

There is one (I forget the name) where you only have three periods a year.

You can't go without a period. Your body will make you have them because your lining still builds up and needs to shed sometime.
