Dear I Am,
Sometimes our feelings are not actually ours. Sometimes what we are feeling are the feelings of others. Friends, family, and the world at large. That's mass consciousness. And we pick up on it. Nobody is separate from anything or anyone else.
The best thing to do is to just let it go. Have a good cry, if you're feeling the sadness and let it flow through and out of you. Don't own it.

Maybe you are just stressed, maybe even just subconsciously. I you are PMSing, etc. or have a lot going on, this feeling can be normal. The holidays are a crazy time, and that could also trigger this. Just take a warm bath, drink some hot tea or cocoa, watch a favorite movie or eat ice cream. The feeling will wear off. I get like that usually when I am PMSing or are overwhelmed!

Maybe you're just PMS's and your period is around the corner. I always get sad the week before. Hormones have big effects on people. Usually I just rent a funny movie or read a book that couldn't possibly be sad. Sometimes you will just have bad days and there is nothing that helps. Just try to find something that will cheer you up. Shopping is my favorite mood picker-upper.

I have that from time to time its normal.
If you are female, sometimes the fluctuations of our hormones every month can make us feel that way.
If it is becoming winter where you live, you could be affected by something called Seasonal Affective Disorder (SAD).
Sometimes we just have mood swings. For no reason.
If these feeling persist or get worse see your doctor but maybe if you just have a good cry you'll feel better. I know I do sometimes.

Just let it all out. Sometimes a good cry is all we need to feel better.
Do you have anyone that you can talk to? Is there something that you've been going through that is affecting you in this way? Find someone to talk to about it. Getting it off of your chest will also help a lot as well.
And if you're religious, pray about it. You can always talk to God about your problems, even if no one else is around. :)

Raid your parent's vinyl collection:
Song song blue
Everybody knows one
Song song blue
Every garden grows one
Me and you are subject to the blues now and then
But when you take the blues and make a song
You sing them out again
Sing them out again
Song song blue
Weeping like a willow
Song song blue
Sleeping on my pillow
Funny thing, but you can sing it with a cry in your voice
And before you know it, start to feeling good
You simply got no choice
Song song blue
Everybody knows one
Song song blue
Every garden grows one
