i had to have a c section a month ago, about two weeks ago the pain was almost completely gone. now i am starting to have pain like in my stomach muscle area (not at my incision that seems to be healing fine). i know that it is common to take long recovery from a c section, but is it weird that i was feeling so much better and i am now in pain? anyone else experience this?

Are u picking up heavy things? Like something heavy or maybe u have a toddler? That could do it. Make sure u aren't picking up nothing heavy. i haven't experienced that I had a c-section 2 months ago.

Try not to do too much. A lot of people think when they start feeling better that they are healed and will do more than they should, and then they end up in pain again. Follow your doctor's orders. I ended up with an infection in my incision, so that was extremely painful.

I did!! I had the same thing happen. It's probably just your body telling you to take it easy. Plus your stomch muscles were pushed out of the way and need time to heal and return to normal as well. If you are feeling any sharp pain that lasts more than a few seconds then I would see my OB. Other than that it's normal. Just take some Tylenol. Congrats on the little one!!

I had my c-section (classical) 16 days ago, and I am feeling better. I do find that if I overdo it, I am in alot of pain. To me it feels like I'm bruised on the inside, and the incision area is numb. It's' really weird to me.

Like the others said you may be doing too much. Try to take it easy even if you do get extra bursts of energy. You just had major surgery and now have a newborn to care for too. Don't hesitate to call your OB/GYN and let them know, they may want you to come in. Don't dismiss the pain. ( Mom of 3 all c-sections)
Good luck!
