I prefer Rock and it's many subgenres.
Though I am fond of some of the older RnB. I'm a huge Etta James fan.

How the hell can you say Rock and RnB in the same breath. RnB is full of selfish, arrogant, diva people. Ooooh i`ve got more money than you!!!!.
Most people in Rock/Heavy/Thrash are true musicians who write there own songs, play there own instruments/music and work hard and appreciate there fans. And in the Heavy Metal world it`s one big family, unlike RnB (50 cent-Kanye west???). Everyone wants to put everyone else down.
Take a guess at what i prefer.
Lots of respect to Chris R, i`m with you on that one.

Yeah I like both. Rnb nowadays is really cool, what with the collaborations and stuff however Rock has also developed...
For me personally its R'n'B however I love good rock classics like "Eye of the tiger', 'Final countdown' 'Don't stop me now' etc. I'm not to much of a rock fan for nowadays music though...

Love both. But when I say both I mean the classic of both. Led Zeppelin and Marvin Gaye. The Rolling Stones and Diana Ross.

I am a red blooded rocker, but some r&b is enjoyable. Does Jazz count as r&b? I dig jazz and older hip hop from the early 80s, but new artists like kanye west, p diddy, mike jones etc I cant stand.

Rock will never die out like the rest of those genres.
Rock FTW. I'm not fond of R&B whatsoever.
