America was populated by a planet's best.

It would attract the dare devils, adventure takers, creative idealist, people with guts,

It profiled every human emotion in its history with one major addition

It gave HOPE to the masses.

Slavery, indentured servants, and every other horrible human condition was challenged by the idealists among us.

We are still challenged and still create hope for people the world over.
There will never be a perfect existence.

Freedom is a challenge for every newborn to decide every year of its life.

The secrete ballot and a free press will be the leader of the worlds oppressed masses and will always give way and bow to HOPE

Geographically it is anyone who resides in either North or South America. While there are different countries that have their own claims and distinctions within the continent of the Americas, they are still technically american.

If you are referring to to those that live in what is the United States of America, this is a tough question to answer. The people who make up what is generally referred to as Americans is vast. Most, if not all, have origins that start from Europe and Central America. The American is a mixture of races, cultures, religions, beliefs, and life styles. Arrogance runs rampant because of the simple belief that anything is possible with an idea and the drive for it to succeed.

An American is free to pursue their dreams no matter how big or small. They have the choice to make their lives as comfortable as they want, knowing that there might be sacrifices and accepting those sacrifices.

Being an American is more than being a patriotic robot that just waves a flag. Being an American, to me, means knowing where I come from and being proud of not just who I am as an American but of where my family had come from.

As for Americans being ignorant, as it is mostly labeled towards language, let me put it this way. From where I am at right now I can travel for 4 days in any direction and not need a different language than English. On the fifth day I would be able to cross into Mexico and/or Canada where I would either need to know the Mexican style of Spanish or French for the certain areas of Canada that still have the strong French connection. Take a look at Europe where you travel four days in any direction and you would need to know two to four different languages just to be able to communicate.

An American is a complex person with faults, positive attributes, and a spirit that can not be denied. I like to think that is of anyone in the Americas.

An American is a mongrel made up of many different breeds. The American culture is also a mixed breed taking the best of the rest.

Before you get your back up on reading this, consider that mongrels are far more healthy than purebreds. Their survival instinct surpasses that of the pampered pet.

And we know no shame in borrowing from other cultures. If it's good, it is OURS.

That is our strength and we have even made laws to encourage it.

The White Man is a tremendous builder. The few times in history when he has been unshackled and free to do as his inborn nature dictates, he constructs, he creates, he builds empires. Given free rein over a period of time, the creative works of the White Man become truly astounding. One such period was the building of America, and the Winning of the West.

During the middle of the nineteenth century, the majority of Americans were imbued with the idea that it was their Manifest Destiny to conquer and populate America from the shores of the Atlantic to the shores of the Pacific. And conquer they did!

Our doctored history books have given us so much trash about the importance of the Pilgrim Fathers, the Puritans, the Mayflower Compact, and in general, the role of Christianity in the building of America. Our school children and the American population, by and large, as a result, have now become so indoctrinated that practically all of them will rehash this Jewish distortion that America was built by Christians, for Christians, and on Christian principles. A closer examination of history will show that America was built not by Christians, nor on Christian principles, but, on the contrary, was built despite the shackles of Christianity.

Who were the real builders of America? They certainly were not the Pilgrims or the Puritans or other religious zealots, although there were some of these sprinkled throughout the early settlers. Nor was it so much the refugees from religious persecution that made up the bulk of the racial stock who built America, although there were some of these among our early settlers. Basically the people who came over here in large numbers and were the rootstock of America were the best examples of what is great about the White Race. These were people imbued with the spirit of adventure who were looking for a better land and a better opportunity in which to raise their families and to make their fortunes. They were adventurous, aggressive, fearless, energetic, and above all, people with vision and people who wanted to build. They were the same kind of stock that has pushed forward the frontiers of the White Man all over the world in the far-flung continents over the last many thousands of years.
