Next time you go to the bathroom, take the book on physics with you and read it from front to end.
That is where I get my best reading, answers and ideas. Try it.

I've always believed physics to be EVERYWHERE. I studied this science last year. Think about it; just filling up the bathtub requires physics. First off, you must apply a force, perhaps torque (t = rf), to turn the nobs for the water. There's water pressure and the flow rate (av=av); a change in the area of the pipes renders increased or decreased velocity, determining how fast the water comes out of the spout. As the water fills and you, lets say, drop a sponge, it's buoyancy or Fb is determined with P = ρhg - Does it float or sink? Dropping a sponge also addresses potential and kinetic energy. Maybe your shampoo has a hole at the bottom and it poors out when you pick it up. The rate at which it flows out of such a hole is fluid mechanics.

I hope this helps =) There's a ton more.

You can study projectile motion, and see if it matches kinematic equations; or you can study the diffusion of heat from hot water;...or the electrical conductivity of water after dropping a hairdryer in the shower; ...or the diffusion of light, which is why you won't see your face reflected off a wooden wall, but you will off a mirror; ...or the normal force, which keeps you from falling to the center of the Earth as you come down from a jump.

Possibilities are endless.
