there was a movie out years ago in which audi murphy played,it told about him being the most decorted soldier in ww2. does anyone know if he is still alive and how old would he be today? thank you doris

Murphy was born in 1924 and died in 1971. he would be 83 if still alive.

Sadly, Audi Murphy is dead.He is the most decorated war hero, a medal of honor recipient and was a movie star.Never had the pleasure of meeting him but I cried when I heard that he had died.He would probably be in his 90s I guess.
