The commercials had a big impact on me.
I haven't seen it and don't plan to.

Whenever I say I love musicals, people think I mean things like High School Musical. So it's impacted me in a negative way.

As I am in my 30's it did not effect me the same way it affected all of the kids and teenagers out there who love it. But how it did affect me was enjoying seeing the younger people getting excited about a musical again. I remember when Grease came out and we were so excited. I teach theatre and to see kids getting excited over a musical instead of some lame comedy that just spoofs every other movie out there is refreshing. I don't have to love it but I can love that so many other people do.

Puking...does that fit? Honestly it's cheap theatre. It gets laughs, entertainment, and money for Disney. Now if your talking about actual theatre, it should not even be in that category. Honestly it sickens me to see high schools and professional theatres selling out their name just to fill their theatres with this crap. No but seriously it impacted my life the same way the potato impacted the light bulb.
