okey,i had my first period a few days ago and i only had it for two days..now its gone!!am i sick??grrr..plz help me!

For the first year of your periods you can expect them to be irregular, your body is learning how to do this just the same way it had to learn everything else. Nobody started out with a 5-7 day period every 28 days, let your body learn and adjust and don't panic. You have done the best thing you could have and that is ask questions, I found that the worst problem for young women is they have so many misconseptions and because they don't ask questions, they never get to the truth of the matter and end up trying to fix a problem that isn't a problem in the first place. RELAX you are doing the right thing, your body is doing the right thing, keep asking questions and you will be fine. Good Luck

The first few years of having your period can be very variable. They can be short or long or irregular. It is just a matter of your body getting used to the hormones.

No, you are not sick. It can take about a year or two for the periods to regulate themselves because the body is trying to adjust to the changes going on inside. Please let your mom know what's going on as well so that she can help you keep an eye on it.

NO.This is completely normal.Periods last anywhere from 1 to 7 days.Also,It's your first period.Your periods may be irregular for up to two years.One month, you might have it,the next you might not.

No, your just fine. Your first period might be shorter then others and if might be irregular for awhile, so don't worry. You arn;t sick.
