Kids seem in a hurry to become little adults nowadays and act older than they are and participate in behaviors they are not mature or responsible enough to handle, because they think these things are supposed to be 'fun' and that others will think they are 'kewl' or look up to them because of what they do.
It's a shame...they don't spend enough time being kids, not realizing that they'll have their whole lives to be adults once they hit legal age...a shame that so many parents allow the behavior you describe also, and don't try to stop or prevent it.
I've never regretted my decision not to have kids...

I think your parents must be happy! But yeah I think that 15 or so is the norm, I don't know how wild the party's are that your talking of but I started hanging out and drinking at about that age I am now 27 and not into ANY of that stuff any more I now go out maybe 1-2 times a month and that is on a good month I would say that I don't go out at all some months. But just be your self and do what you like because in the end it's not who you hang out with but who hangs out with you that's your real Friends! I guess what I am saying is you can go to a party with 100+ ppl but how many are going to be there for you when you are out back barfing!

Where do you live ?
I live in England, and as you say, there ARE people who drink, smoke, do drugs and have sex at a young age.
But they're not ALL like that, i'm not one of those.
I drink, but then again, i'm only 4 days from being legal to do so.
Never smoked, done drugs, and im still a virgin.
Anyway, i still agree with you, they DO act older, but its them who will look back in a few years and wish they had made more of their childhood.
Personally i don't find excessive drinking, to the point of being paraletic appealing, and i DON'T find it attractive.
I've been there before, but, i try no to
I've learnt my limits, and never want to be so drunk that im sick and cant stand up.
Its totally pointless i think.
Who could find it attractive, meeting someone for the first tim (1st impressions are everything after all), and they couldnt stand up, they were slurring their speech, and maybe covered in puke ?

I think your right. I also hate staying out late because its really dangerous especially on a friday or saturday night.
I like shopping in the day, cinemas and going to the park But i also love having house parties when my mother and father arent there, we dont drink alcohol or smoke though.
Things can get pretty crazy, but at the end of the day me and my friends are just 13 year olds having fun!
Good question.

yes, you are right.
kids today always try and act older, as they think they look cool.
Girls about 9 , 10, 11, 12 or 13 try and act cool by wearing slutty clothes and a lot of make up, cus they see it on tv...and think it looks cool...etc....but sooner or later when they hit about 19 or so, ...then they tend to grow up a bit....
...but its all pretty common.
....So yeah, you're right. You seem a bit smarter than the average 16 year old, ....hell , you seem a bit smarter than a lot of 18 year olds.

Buddy, You are correct ! But truth is it has always been like that with drinking. Sex has gotten totaly distorted from the lords good intention ! With all the std"s out there kids are foolish to even think about touching another. My friend you are on the right path, please stay the course !

It all hinges on how they were raised. It's obvious that your parents took the time to teach you social skills and how to act like a mature person. You will see the others fall into a state of "Disrepair" and be able to walk on by knowing you aren't the exception, but the rule.
Give them a hug and tell them thanks for all the help. They might appear baffled at first but it will mean a lot to them.

I'm 15 and most of my friends smoke and drink and its not because they think there cool. It has nothing to do with self confidence they just think that its alright to do since they see many other older people doing it.
