The Arthropods are invertebrate with an external skeleton, (esoscheletro in italian) container "Chitina" (a nitrogenous organic substance, sometimes impregnate of mineral salts and coloring substances) and of articulated legs, literally, in fact, the term artropod means articulated feet. The esoscheletro being rigid is renewed for the growth, said phenomenon moult. Insect are arthropod, as Crustacean, Arachnids, Xiphosura and many more...

Yes, all insects are arthropods (but, of course, not all arthropods are insects), although note that the correct spelling is Phylum Arthropoda, not "Phylam-arthropoda."
