I assume that the "commercial" is a come on from the drama/vocal class to the student body to buy yearbooks. If so, then toy need a theme or themes. The vocalists could sing a jingle that might be a parody of a popular song a la Weird Al Yankovich. Or a parody of "High School Musical."

The drama class might parody a Jane Austen novel, for example, the thrust of which would be that life would be unbearbly dreary or even hopeless if you don't buy the school's yearbook. It's over-the-top hyperbole intended to amuse and arouse the students into ordering a yearbook.

Spend time thinking about what will creat a good contrast, and then spend time being clever. There are probably some websites that are devoted to clever commercials, particularly those that aired in the UK but not the USA. You should be able to get some more ideas there.

Aw, you like the kid? Well, in his yearbook, write about how maybe you would like to get together with some friends this summer and things like that, write your cell number / screen name / myspace and sign your name nice. If he's interested, he will get in contact with you. :D
