Help with adware/malware infection..Trying to do system restore..Help?

I have really done it this time. I use McAfee Anti Virus/Spyware and last week I "okayed" a dowload I shouldn't have because now my pc is running very slow and I have ads popping up all over the place. They seem to be associated with "ads campaign.com".

I was trying to get something for free that I shouldn't have - it's my own fault).

I tried to do a system restore, but the only dates available for restore are the 14th, 15th, and 16th of this month (I need to go back further than that).

I did a scan with McAfee, and nothing came up. How do I get rid of this malware?

Download Spybot and scan it ^_^
Remember to scan once more after the removal, this is to ensure that they are completely erased from your comp ^_^

If they do not go away, post the names of the trojans/spywares/... as question ^_^

download adaware and spybot S & D and thier updates. Turn system restore off and do the scans. If you do them with restore on it just resets back to the same situation with the viruses/ adware. If this doesn't work , then back up important files, dump everything and reload.

Try to use Spybot. It is a malware, spyware and adware removal free program. Goto: http://www.safer-networking.org/en/index.html. It works very well on my computer. Make sure you update its definition before running it. Hope it can help.
