well if you mean founding fathers such as those in the revolutionary war and thee writers of the constitutions than no because that was several hundreds of years after America was found. Also because in the 18th century religion wasn't that important. By this time many European countries were religious tolerance
But if you mean by colonists then definitely because one main reason they moved to the colonies was for religious freedom. In the 15th to 17th centuries religion was all that mattered
