I have no fears of public bathrooms but I do have problems with them, I dont like them at all... I go to the bathrooom when I wake up in the morning and then go after school, but somtimes (wednsday) I dont get home till 9 because of church, I dont like usuing bathrooms outside of my own in my house... I dont like cleanlieness or anything... I think its gross.... but I know it cn hurt you, I just really dont know how...
what should I do? because somtimes I feel like I am going to explode but I will not go anywhere but at home, when we went to kentucky last year I went twice in four days, that has to be harmful....

Just dont sit on the toilet seat and dont touch anything with your hand. Cover the seat with TP or a sanitary cover, dont use the first piece of toilet paper on the roll and use your foot to flush. U could cause serious damage to your urinary tract by holding it like that - you could get a serious infection.

WoW, I thought I was the only one who was like this!! I never used a public bathroom until I got pregnant and had no other choice. What I do is I NEVER sit on em first of all, I pack wipes w/me, so I wipe the seat, then place tissues paper on it, and then I squat over it. All I can think of is what if germs can jump?? Which is y I put paper and dont sit directly on the seat. I've been known to hold mine from Michigan to Tennessee, which is a 9+ hour trip!!! Anyways hope this helps

Sanitary wipes are excellent to carry with you at ALL times and they especially come in handy. It is NOT healthy to be holding your bladder for that long though. Not only do you risk a bladder infection, but you can damage it and you blood because it does clean toxins out of your system. I agree with the others. Carry a small deal of wipes and a tiny can of lysol, and just put it in a cool looking pouch, so you don't risk 'embaressing' yourself if you are worried about that.
Another thing that they have came out with within the past year is that squatting to pee is NOT healthy for a female, because it does not allow us to fully empty our bladders and increases the chance of a UTI (unrinary tract infection) or a bladder infection. In time you'll relax a little bit, but just take it a step at a time. I HATE public restrooms too. I keep mine at home spotless, but that's because I spent most of my first pregnancy with my head hanging over the toliet seat. LOL.

just bring a small case of wipes like the ones that kill germs 99.9 % and then just wipe it on the seat. also bring some hand sanitizers for after.
just know that the cleanliness of the bathroom won't hurt you if you wash your hands after and if you use sanitary wipes and stuff like that. good luck.

If you're THAT afraid, just squat or use toilet seat covers and wash your hands afterwards...
If you do all of that, there's a slim chance of anything happening... You'll get over it eventually.
