I don't know why... but even when I see it after something that is not funny I laugh because it seems strange that lol is there....
I usually try not to use lol too much....and when I do...I'm usually giggling over here on my side of the computer screen...

I rarely say lol. I just don't do it that much. Lol seems kind of girly. No offense to the guys who say it in every answer they give.

i try to be polite when talking. i dont say lol in real life. but when something is meant to be funny i say lol, even if i dont really lol.

Yes, I'm addicited, and my friends yell at me all the time for it. So now whenever I say lol I have to spell it out (laugh out loud.) If I forget, I owe them something I think.
