I've heard Disney has been buying up quite a bit of land about 30 mi north of Dallas. Anyone heard rumors of a new Disney park?

No, it's just a rumor. Disney is opening a new hotel/resort facility - but that will be located in Hawaii.

This rumor has been going around for at least 10 years. No, Disney has no plans to open any more US parks at this time. They have recently announced a major rehab of California Adventure, so that is where their attentions will be for a long while.

man i think its a rumor cuz some ppl were saying tht they are gonna open a disneyland or world or whatever down here in katy but it'll be kool if they do open one down here in texas though...but i still think its a rumor

not a theme park but a vacation club on the gulf is rumered for tex.
