Is it just me or what? We got a foot of snow overnight and all I can think about is all the homeless people and how difficult this must be for them!! I'm SO thankful that I have a roof over my head...and heat/water/food. How in the world do they survive stuff like this?!

thank goodness there are shelters so not all have to stay in the cold!
how nice of someone to give a thumbs down towards homeless shelters, guess you never think a bad day will come to you

I disagree, atleast in part, with " Diamond ". Many of the homeless are mentally ill and either have no one to help them with their condition or can't afford the medicines it takes to treat it. And, in some cases, their problem just isn't curable. But, I do know this; the " roster " is growing everyday and the pressures created by society are largely for responsible for the rise in the number of homeless..." Diamond ", where is your compassion?

nope it is still snowing where i live and on the news it said that everyone should stay home....they even cancled chrurch and they never do that where i live lol

now that i think about it ... i doo feel bad !! and i am extremely thankful that i have food & heat & a home!! i have no idea how anyone could survive itt

most homeless people made decisions throughout their lives that put them where they're at now
it's up to them to figure out a method of self-preservation
