Hello. We don't dislike you. We just wish you would stop perpetuating false stereotypes about us that can be said about Brits as well, i.e., we're loud, arrogant, think we're the best, fat, unintelligent, lazy, stupid.
Americans are a lot more complimentary toward the British than British are to Americans. At least it seems that way here on Yahoo Answers. I think we need to remember we're a lot more similar than we are different and stop trying to one-up each other constantly.

I like your history. I like your accents. I like your music, and the talented people that have come from British stock over the years. I like the regional customs of England, the hills of Wales, and the high lakes of Scotland. There's lots more.
I don't really dislike anything about the British, but if I had to pick one thing, it seems that you guys don't care too much for us.

I love your bitter beer, your music, your relative laid back lifestyle compared to ours; because of your accent insults sound like compliments. I love your beautiful, colorful gardens. I dislike your weather.
EDIT TO ANSWERERS: The Brits think we're fat because we are. Go to Walmart and look around you.

Love the odd sense of humor.... Monty Python was huge influence on me growing up. I don't like it when you call us Yanks though, as I'm from Tennessee.
