Of course the planets move around the sun, but let's look at this from a religious point of view. I'm not familiar with the Quran, but there is a statement in the Bible that is similar to the questioner's assertion:
"You set the earth on its foundations, so that it shall never be shaken."
- Psalms 104:5 (New Revised Standard Version)
This verse formed part of the church's basis in its case against Galileo; it indicated to them that everything revolves about the earth, not the sun. It shows why the Bible (or any other holy book) should not be interpreted as a science textbook.
-- added later:
Anyone who lives in California (or Indonesia, or Chile, or Turkey, or Japan ...) knows that the above statement from the Bible is false. There goes Biblical inerrancy.

Islam said that the planets don't revolve around the sun? I have never heard that before. But the planets are definitely spinning around the suns. Science is the truth.

If Islam says that the planets do not revolve about the sun, then what does it say about the motion of the planets? Does it address the subject at all? Does it allow for different opinions that were not established in the 10th century?
My opinion matters little. The motion of the planets is an established fact. What matters is your opinion.

If you are talking about our solar system then Islam is wrong, All 8 planets revolve around the sun and spin on their axis some slower than others,

Not really sure what you mean by spinning. All planets are rotating on their axes (spinning like a top) and revolving around the Sun (orbiting). When something you'd like to believe contradicts observable facts, maybe you should re-think why you want to believe it so much.

well islam is wrong. planets revolve around stars or anything else with a larger mass than themselves. its science fact vs religion. islam happens to be wrong on this one. sorry.
think about it, when the koran was written they didnt have satellites, advanced telescopes, or space shuttles. the earth revolves around the sun, no doubt at all there. all other planets do the same.

Where / who says all planets are spinning around the suns? Experts who have studied this subject say that there are many planets in outer space that are not in orbit around stars.
And where in the Qur'an does it say that planets are not all spinning around the suns? I am sorry to say that I know only English, but I cannot find that in my translation.

... and planet Earth is flat. Maybe it is not. I like idea that
planets are round, spinning around their axis, rotating
around their own sun.

Whether they're dead dwarf stars or stars that just never quite made it to star status or planets ejected from a star's orbit, there are the rare planetary object drifting in space separate from a star.
As to Gallileo, the statement about Earth might have been included in the case against him, but it wasn't the reason for the church going after him. He tried to get church endorsement for his idea that the planets orbited the Sun by citing Bible passages that would support his idea. Since there was quite a bit of dispute among astronomers about whether the Earth or Sun were the center of the solar system, the church's position was to avoid committing itself to either theory. They were very adamant about being noncomittal since committing to the wrong theory could be damaging to the church's reputation. The church just ordered Galileo to take the Bible references out of his work. He replaced them with a quote from the Pope that seemed to support his idea. That's what got him into trouble - finding a clever way to defy the church while complying with their literal instructions.
