I have this guy friend I really like and we often flirt. In fact he told me one time he was falling for me (after a couple of drinks). Thing is, he never asks me about my love life. Could this be because he is not sure how I feel and this makes him shy? Normally he is not a shy guy at all. Now we live in diff. states as our jobs took us away. But we got together recently and kissed one time and he got very quiet with me at that time. We never discussed it as had to return home the next day. What do you think?

You said it in your question. He told you that he was falling for you.
If he has feeling for you why would he want to hear about you being with another guy.
Because you live out of state, is the reason why he hasnt done anything about it. He probably is thinking that in time this whole thing will just fade away and you will each go separate ways. He will meet someone and you will too.

Hmm... I think you and him aren't on the same page. It's like he's having a different conversation than you are, where you think he's ignoring you, and he thinks you're treating him differently. Either way, you both are unhappy and you guys need to get back on the same page and figure out if you guys want to try having a relationship, or not. But, until you guys do, this pattern will continue and you guys will probably still be unhappy. Try to get a time where both of you are not busy and figure out what you want to do. Good luck! :)

I think he never asks you about your love live because he doesn't care.
