I've seen a lot of t-shirts saying "Rudy was offisdes." Where is the proof? I hate Notre Dame, so I support the cause of pilling on the hate, but I'd like to see a picture or video of Rudy being offsides first. Where can I find such a thing? I looked on Youtube and Google but could not find anything.

They didn't have the cameras set up on the line so it'll be hard to determine. Rudy was a safety playing defensive end and he was fresh off the bench. The right tackle from Georgia Tech was tired and Rudy beat him off the line.

Rudy didn't know exactly where to line up, and looked to the sidelines...but he wasn't offsides when the ball was snapped...

Why does anyone care? Its probably just to take some glamor off the mystic of the whole "Rudy" story and Notre Dame itself. It wont change anything, even if he was, but is a good conversation piece. Though I dont care for Notre Dame myself, I do find it funny...or someone just is holding on to something that happened before they were born and needs to let it go.
