I mean generally they ALWAYS have to talk to someone about everything!! Either their sister or bf or someone!

Guys on the other hand, we can weeks and never speak about relationships or anything personal. Females are incapable of doing this! Why is that? are women tryly the weaker sex?

I understand what you are asking, and I have known a lot of women who are like that. I am not though and that is why I probably have had more friends that were male than female, although I have noticed that a lot of them need a sound bored too.
I also believe it also depends how good your relationship with your mother. Me and my mom don't get along, but i will go ask my grandmother or great grandmother first because they more than likely have expernced a similar situation at some point in their life. My husband and I discuss everything though, and he is more open with his problems and worries than I am.
I think weakness is a matter of personal perception in this case, and varies from individual to individual. I also believe that it has to do with the fact that we stem from a patriarcial society also, but that is just my opinion.

That's precisely why we don't end up in mental institutions as often as guys do. We talk it all out and let it go..... we know how to manage our emotional lives and have resilience to show for it when faced with crisis and tough times.

There are more men in mental institutions and forensic wards than women. You don't have sounding boards or think you don;t need one but that's rooted in pride - false pride. I'm not saying you should use this coping mechanism - perhaps you just cope differently - whack your rival at work down, thrash him on the golf course or tennis courts etc. But I don't buy that guys don't talk - I know a lot of guys from all generations talk and ventilate. They just like to talk to each other and someone they can trust (note the more suspicious nature of men) and not to women about their troubles.

Women on the other hand will tell their spouse everything because you're her life-partner (emphasis on partner!).

So equating weakness with the ability to ventilate is largely a misconception on your part.

Why is speaking about feeling, relatioships etc seen as weak? That is subjective, the inability to talk freely about their feelings could be seen as weak instead. Women dont HAVE to talk about things, they WANT to in order for things to be understood and for other perspectives to be heard. Sorry but women are not the weaker sex. Men and women need to learn off each other to find a greater balence and maturity. Talking about feelings 24/7 isnt healthy but nor is being emotionally cut off as people will have to guess what your feeling and they might not get it right, which causes arguments. Women need to learn when to keep quiet and men need to learn when to open up.

Heck no. My wife is the one emotionally strong in our relationship. She hands out handkerchiefs at funerals and the like. I'm the one who cries at movies, songs and whenever I'm asked to stand if I have served my country. A well known anthropologist did a study and found that women are superior to men in many ways. In fact the findings were that men had one advantage: Brute Strength. Anyway, I hope that helps.

Women have a stronger emotional vocabulary than men. A female can change the subject before the male knows the question.

no, not all women talk about there feelings. I sure don't. Many guys like to talk about personal stuff. So you can't say women are there weaker sex. It depends on the person.

Gender has nothing to do with how strong or weak a person is. Neither does a person's "mouth" determine their strength. Someone may have a big, and filthy, mouth to cover up for being extremely weak, and they don't want to display that trait to anyone. Whereas, someone who is quiet may be very strong willed, and physical. Get them angry, and don't be surprised when they destroy you.

I think men are weaker emotionally in that they have trouble expressing their emotions. They hold them in, then they often come out in violent acts. If men were more emotional, maybe they wouldn't be responsible for over 86% of crimes.

What??? You need to get out more. Most of the women I know are successful, assertive, smart, well off, beautiful and smarter and much more fun to be around than most men.

Geesh....
