First you need a software that can copy dvds (nero is not bad). Then you need an unburnt dvd... Then you need a DVD BURNER since it's dvds you wanna copy. If you wanna copy a dvd on a cd, then it's called a DIVX, and you'll probably need 2 cds (otherwise it's just too much compression and the image quality wouldn't be good. But if you want to make a DIVX, you'll need a software to put your dvd on a DIVX shape. There are many of them, you can also download some for free on the net.
Oh... if it's bought DVDS you wanna copy (it's illegal in Northern America, legal in Europe as lon as it's for your own use), then you'll have to download either FAB (that'll get your whole dvd on your computer, removing zonage and protections) or SHRINK , which also will copy your dvd on your computer, but allowing you to decide which part of your dvd you wanna copy.
Get it?

Hey Lil B M:
Yes, you certainly CAN burn your video to a regular cd!
However, you can NOT use Windows Media Player to do this.
You can use Windows Movie Maker, Nero, Roxio, Sonic, etc... to make a VCD (Video Compact Disk). Just use the VCD creating functions in any of the mentioned software or create a 'data project' and MOST dvd players WILL play a VCD, which is recorded on a regular blank cd instead of a dvd. :) Note: If it's a long video/movie, then you may have to split the video in half and put it on 2 blank cds. The program you use will let you know.... good luck :)

No, Windows Media Player can burn CD only, you need a burning software to help you convert and burn video to CD, if you don't know how to do that, you may take a look at this guide

If you still have problem, feel free to contact me.
