If I were you, I wouldn't go to any U.S. College, the average high-school student in the U.K. is already years ahead of the average college student in the U.S. I don't know anything about Canada's education system, but I'm sure it's considerably better then the U.S. You should consider Japan or Taiwan, I believe they have the highest test scores in the world. Or pretty close too it.

how do you plan to fund your education, studying in the US is much more expensive than the UK, the first answer is a better idea. I know that is widely available

does merve realise that the English language started in this little country called 'England' hundreds of years ago by the anglo saxons after the romans and vikings invading the England and the rest of the UK. only a few hundred years ago the British started to settle in America making it what it is today.

So you if Merve ever wondered why the language they spoke in the USA is called English not American now they know.

funny that,

You could always study at a British university and spend a year in the US or Canada. I know that most universities in Scotland have exchange links set up, i assume it's the same in the rest of the UK.

A good friend goes to college in Canada and loves it. He chose Canada for a couple reasons. 1) It's cheaper than U.S. and quality of education is still high; 2) because of their health care system, if he gets hurt or sick, even though he's a visitor, he's still able to get medical attention. If you come to school in US, you'll need to buy into a health insurance policy ahead of time. Otherwise you will find yourself unable to get medical attention in the event of illness or injury without spending a large amount of money upfront.

In Canada it gets very cold. In America there are criminals and lots of lawyers who might try to get someone to sue you. If you still want to go to those places to study, good luck. I guess the only thing I would recommend is that you brush up on your English - you will need it for studying and living in those places.

I suggest researching US universities that have locations in the UK. You may find some helpful information linked below.
