In Spanish, upon delivery,a woman is said to have given Light. "Dar Luz" I used to think this meant to be made "lighter of what she carried" - yet, when asking my grandmother what the expression meant, she said "No, it means to offer Light through a new child freshly delivered, into the world. As well as to offer or expose the freshly arrived child to the Light of/in the world.
I believe we all, as children, then becoming adults, reach for the Light. The Light meaning that influence which some call from divinity, what is splendidly lit in our souls - what awareness in our intelligence sets us apart from every other creature in existence.
However, feeling this favour, almost divine, NOT described, far too awesome to instinctively KNOW IN MOMENTS OF DEEP REALIZATION, All of a Sudden, is often out of synchronicity with such same feeling which another may have at a different time. If we all experienced The Intensity, born of the summation of feeling that Light ALL AT ONCE, we'd be experiencing The Glow you speak about. It would offer us confirmation that we are a species full of grace, or favour. (same thing) - But experiencing this intensity so oftentimes Alone, tires us, causes fatigue of the hopeful Soul. Causes us anger, confusion, even another , but, negative intensity : the wrath of vengeance from immense disappointment.
We, humans do seek the warmth, from the very exiting of the womb, but it becomes difficult for most of us to make it a pilgrimage to seek the Glow through the rest of our lives, because, we MUST do it alone. Maintain the the search through following an already given gift of Light to arrive at the Glow. So many of us abandon such search at sometime, UP the path. And our souls begin to deteriorate!
Thusly, it is not dependent upon a mass effort or pilgrimage to follow the Light, which leads to The Glow ultimately, so as to exist with full awareness and gratitude such a Soul maintaining Warmth.
That is the CHALLENGE to our specie : Do we have sufficient trust, belief, confirmation from OUR OWN divine intuition to stay on the path, illumined by Light, which searches for The Glow, and be then, once there, under the refuge of warmth forever???
And that is the Rub, which constantly obstructs the Way.
And to the gentleman, who answered so rudely : Bollox : Sir it is far too early in the day or night, to shut down your brain, by pulling the plug!

We seek light because light wakes us up first, and then blinds us completely … and yes there is comfort of warmth associated with light as well. But light is a symbol for knowledge and insightfulness, is it not? And then what could be the purpose served in waking us up into a world of illumination, if we were to go blind soon afterwards?
The light we see is all material light, the lightest form of matter for us to sense our world with in our eyes, but the effect is quite subliminally ethereal.
Within n that brief moment of our wakefulness, just before our blindness, we see something quite remarkable, quite extra-ordinary, glimpses of heaven, the reality of things of our world, that moment is so brief that no word could ever be brought forth to capture it into experience that is all too real and wonderful for senses. We like not lights but the act of being enlightened by a light.
Then there once again is layer upon layer of gross and deadly physical matter, for us to see everywhere, in various shapes and forms, in various colours and hues, lifeless and lightless, only visible in the shadows of existence. We would not manage to make a living out of this if we had not seen that momentary flash of light just before being blinded with the things that we think we see.
