i could be wrong, but i dont recall ever seeing or reading about the iraqi people demanding a democratic style govt.......

how is it that the US knows whats best for another country.......or are we overhauling their country to ensure access to their oil?

All the Iraqi peopel wanted was for the country most responsible for bringing that monster into power to remove him.

Now they would most likely want the US to get out of their country, before another beast-like creature is helped to take control of their government, if they felt comfortable speaking their mind.

They are used to not speaking up against the ruling class.

Several decades of a dictatorship will do that to a people.

For those who believe the 'war for oil' propaganda---- Saddam Hussein invaded Kuwait for their oil because his oil advisers told him they were running out of accessible oil!!!!!!

Democracy is better then living under a Murdering Dictator.

Hussein sighed agreement to allow U.N. inspectors access to his weapons and nuke programs. He then blocked inspections for 8 years.

It`s just something that the americans claim. There`s nothing behind it whatsoever. They never had democracy there anyway. so why now?
