Yes it will because our favorites are taking steroids and cheating so watching them play is a rip off and people will always suspect all baseball players that are really good and that will a big commotion

It already has, at least in part. Think that huge ramp in attendance and revenue, either starting in 1990 or recovering in 1995, has been due to, oh, the booming 21st century economy?
Nah. Lots of factors -- four new teams, ESPN getting the broadcast contract (for a while, anyway) and adding Baseball Tonight, the advent of fantasy baseball and USA Today's Baseball Weekly (now mutated into a full-sports rag; but for a time, it was a treat, and the lesser sports didn't have similar), MANY new parks, records assaults, Web-based coverage adding to the saturation, the re-ascendancy of the Yankees (and the media obsession with it)... and more, but I think I hit the big ones.
Steroids presumably allow players to play better and, they must hope, win more. And that's the sort of baseball people like to watch and will pay money to watch, as long as they don't know about it. Ignorance is bliss and so forth.
So, 2008 attendance might slip a bit, but it appears (appears, mind you!) that the Roids Era is behind us. People will be forgiving; they like granting second chances when earned. Baseball will survive just fine.

I'm sure that some of the naive people out there will not go again, but that just opens the door for the real BASEBALL FANS to finally get a ticket and attend their favorite teams games.I don't know about other cities but the St.Louis Cardinals tickets are a Hot topic. The Corporations have sucked up all the good season tickets and just about every other ticket as well.

No, but steroid publicity may affect the popularity of big & buff alpha male types, especially in high schools.

I don't think so. Show me a sport that doesn't have a steroid problem. So long as there's money to be made, and glory to be won, there will always be athletes who will use, and owners, and managers, who will turn a blind eye.
