holidays in Cyprus?

i need this for a geography project. i did check on google and yahoo, but i don't want prices and hotels.
i need to know some holidays, and details about the holiday. if you have a site with info. that will help so much. thanks.

i am not being lazy, i already tried everything. i just cant find ANYTHING.
why else would i ask on this. i reallly need this! its important. please don't insult me and help!

Do you mean holidays like Christmas etc (American use of the word holiday) or holidays as in vacations (British use of the word?)

1. Epiphany is a Christian feast intended to celebrate the "shining forth" or revelation of God to mankind in human form, in the person of Jesus. The feast is also called Twelfth Day, as it is the twelfth day after Christmas, or Three Kings Day.
2. there's Greek Independence Day-to celebrate the succes of the greek war of independance (greek revolution).
