Satellite laptops are made by Toshiba.. that is why it is called Toshiba Satellite..
it not different from conventional laptop.. it is just a name..
like Latitude... it is DELL latitude..
or vaio.. it is SONY VAIO...

Satellite is a particular model type by Toshiba. In fact, I'm typing on one right now. It is an ordinary laptop.

A satellite laptop doesn't differ from ordinary laptops because it's just a name of one of the models that Toshiba gives their laptops. Satellite can refer to a line of Toshiba laptops.
I can also refer to a class of sub-notebook computers that have no removable media capability. data and programs must be transferred to and from a host pc. Most are used in industrial settings where exposure to water,dust or flammable materials could be a problem with openings into the laptop's internal parts.

It is a very special laptop which can be used in outer space. It orbits the sun every Thursday after lunch. This can be a bit inconvenient if you need to use it during that time, but it s benefits far outweigh this small inconvenience. For instance you will be able to communicate with beings on other planets and you can also learn to speak new languages. I chose to lern Martian and now speak it fluently. Hope this helps : )
