Mark Buehrle's no-hitter against the Texas Rangers on 4/18. The Sox won 6-0. Jermaine Dye hit a grand slam, and Jim Thome hit two solo home runs.

Buehrle faced the minimum 27 batters. Sammy Sosa reached on a walk in the fifth inning, but Buehrle picked him off first base.

Best Cubs game: Probably when their arrogant fans had to eat crow after getting swept out of the playoffs by the Diamondbacks.

i'm a White Sox fan and that i've got on no account felt extra confident for a season than 2010. The pitching rotation is the spotlight and quite underrated. all of us understand what Buehrle and Peavy can do, yet human beings forget approximately Floyd and Danks. surprisingly Danks, who has saved an era under 3.80 those previous 2 seasons. and anybody interior the projected commencing lineup has hit a minimum of .270 as quickly as interior the previous 2 years. That speaks ability to me. and that i think of Alex Rios getting a sparkling start up this 3 hundred and sixty 5 days would be good because of the fact he struggled final 3 hundred and sixty 5 days. i do no longer think of they are going to be taken heavily on the commencing up by making use of "experts" yet I say "beware."

Game #149, September 16, 2007, vs. the Angels, at The Cell. Jim Thome hit his 500th HR of his career. That's awesome! And to make it better, it was in WALK-OFF FASHION! Not many times do you get to see a walk-off homer for #500. Mark Buehrle's was close behind but I would take that over Mark's no-no b/c it was an awesome career mark!

Watch on Christmas on CSN for a replay of Buehrle's no-no. Today was the replay of the August 8th game vs. Cleveland where Uribe hit a walk-off in the 13th and Steve Stone (???) predicted it before the inning!
