I use Window Live OneCare, Spy Sweeper, Zone Alarms, and Spybot S & D but I still get viruses. From the viruses I usually get, none of the program alert me (except OneCare sometimes). I always get viruses that crash my computer after startup, but they are easily cleared with a system restore.

I have used AVG Anti Virus, Zone Alarm Firewall, Spy-bot Search and Destroy and Ad Aware both spyware killers for years. They are all free for personal use and I have had no trouble with Viruses Trojans etc. AVG does not slow the system down as much as some other products and Zone Alarm allows a lot of personal configuration unlike the Windows Firewall. They can all be downloaded from the following link. http://www.computeractive.co.uk/... On the home page select downloads and then the appropriate category.I also use Windows Defender from the Microsoft site. It is safe to use two anti-spy products but never use more than one A/V as it can cause conflicts. You should run A/V and anti spy weekly. Hope

You don't have a decent anti-virus program amongst all those.

Avast! is the best one we've seen, it's free, it runs in the background (and does a full system scan when your screensaver appears) and it's as good as any of the expensive ones. It also updates itself almost every day as new viruses are discovered.

I have three steps for you:
1. Easy on the porn :D
2. Live OneCare is good for ***-wiping. AVG does the job and it's free
and
3. Use Firefox. The only reason why you're getting viruses is because you're using IE6, am i right?

oh and um maybe one of the already installed antiviruses you have might be giving you viruses... You never know. It happened to me once...
Don't trust anything.

Those are stupid anti-virus apps. Use Bit defender or Kaspersky. These will block the viruses or ask for your permision to use them.

I have nothing but the new norton antivirus.Besides that just make sure your firewall is turned on.You probably know this but incase you dont, just click start, control panel, windows firewall,"or it might say security center".make sure its on that way.I dont have problems just with these two things alone.I hope you get that straightend out.My parents had lots of problems like that.mark
