A pot with a strainer lid, hiking shoes, gun with large plastic bag filled with an arsenal of bullitts.
Until I could find a good source of fresh water, I would need to find a way to make my own from the salt water. If you bring the salt water to a boil, the steam will go through the holes in the lid and you can catch the moisture in the plastic bag while leaving the salt behind. I won't last long without water.
Hiking shoes because I am going to need to find out what resources I have on the island until I am found (cave for shelter, food, etc)
Gun with bullitts because if my luck with fishing was as bad as it has been this year than I have better luck shooting the darn fish rather than catching one. Plus I would rather eat an animal then BE eaten by one. And at least then I would be the only predator on the island and get a good and easy meal at the same time.

Water, and something to start a huge fire with. If your missing, chances are if you aren't found in the first few days, you'll end up dead, so I'd do my best to attract attention to myself.
