The spoon as an aeroplane (I remember thinking how foolish she must be to think i would be fooled by something so silly!)
and the starving children in Africa story.(I also always offered to send them my food).I also recall sitting staring at a bowl of ''faki?'' for about 2 hours until I ate it and could leave the table.
Spreading the food as flat as possible was another trick to not eat it all as well as hiding food under the salad/mash etc on my plate.
Needless to say now i eat anything.:-)

She didn't insist or do any trick. I ate as much as I wanted. If I liked the food, I ate it all. If not, I would not eat any of it. She didn't make any other food for me, but it was my choice what and and how much I would eat. Only once my dad insisted that I eat a veg soup he had made for me and was so proud, and I threw it up, so no one ever did that again. Oh, except a cleaning lady we had, and she made her best to make me eat my food, because of being conscientious, and I threw it up every time she did so!

I loved that game lol!

duct tape onsies (did no longer artwork with my son!) the only great concern that labored develop into overalls. the two locate some overall shorts or get some widespread overalls and cut back off the legs. interior the summertime i did no longer even difficulty with a blouse below them. The trick comes with putting the overalls on backwards so my son could no longer attain the clips! of course it relies upon on the overalls you will detect. in case you get those with the snaps on the crotch for diaper ameliorations your little imp might make certain the thank you to undo them. some people attempt putting diapers on backwards. that one relies upon on how he takes them off. If he's utilising the tabs to take the diaper off it may artwork, if he's purely pulling them down it won't artwork.

I'm pretty sure she used to threaten me with things like, "You can't have dessert if you don't eat all your food." or "You can't watch TV if you don't finish this." Yeah, but I usually just ended up sneaking the things I didn't want to my dad anyways! Haha.

I used to hate Carrot but I do love to eat potatoes.

My mum tricked me into thinking that Carrots are "Orange Potatoes" and I eat them without complaints.
