I have a oil fired boiler with a (wayne) conversion burner (natural gas). It short cycles a lot, but only when the system calls for heat, not when the demand is for hot water. Any ideas?. thanks

It is either a electrical tempreture sensor, Or the Termostat is faulty and not reading when calling for heat.

The thermostat is shot. Short cycles are due to improper anticipator settings. The anticipator needs to be set to whatever voltage the relay is. This is THE most important step that usually gets overlooked.
