my pc wont connect up to the internet .i phoned broadband up they said i need to install winfox..im using my laptop now which is vista and i want to know could i download winfox on the laptop then copy to a cd so i can instal it to the pc which is xp

i think they said winfox lol they said because my pc keeps saying no connectivity then i need to download winfox coz theres a problem with my xp or something

Are you sure they didn't mean firefox?
Yes you should be able to download it on your vista pc. Just burn it to CD or use USB flash memory to het it to your other pc.

I'm running XP on broadband and have never needed winfox. Whatever that is. When I first hooked up, I did need to restart everything a few times. (incl. the modem) They did give you an install disk, right?

Just checked out winfox. I hate this! As bad as the pharmeceutical companies. Make you think you need something just to sell it. Email me. We'll get this figured out.

maybe firefox, and as per downloading it to your lab top (vista) then to desktop (xp) this may be a problem make sure that the software supports both operating systems. if not download both burn the xp one on a disk then install on the desktop.
