My 'religious' celebration is Yule, the winter solstice on the 21st. Christmas I cook for my family and it feels good to have my mum there and all the kids home. It's nice when they all go again too (lol) and hubbie and me can relax with a glass of wine and congratulate each other that we survived another Christmas!

That is a hard question because there are many different cultures and people out there that like to celebreate a different way, but normally i would suggest a weekend or a holiday away normally spent with other family i.e like a reunion but this is not good for all families. i would discuss it with the rest of the family and see what there ideas are.

I'm wiccan and i'll have a small celebration on the 21st with my husband and daughter (at yule) and on the 25th we do a family christmas meal and presents with the rest of our families. For me its a time to celebrate families and spend quality time together.
