Okay, I just got a really annoying virus wanting to sell me DioCleaner. They hacked into my computer, stopped my internet from working, and disabled my task manager. My run feature is also a little out of order.

Since my internet does not work, I can not download an extra. Which folders (step by step) do I need to get to, to enable the task manager?

as to enable task manager no luck. But if you have antivirus installed and it gives you the name of the virus, write it down access the internet in another computer, and search that specific virus and a patch of removal tool, download it put on a flash drive, cd, ect. and install it on your computer. many times this takes care of the virus, and your will work properly again.

even if you manage to open the group policy edit, you may still not able to enable the task manager.

you really have to install antivirus and antispyware.

best antivirus: kaspersky or norton
