Whether you gave your best effort or not is up to you to decide in prayerful contemplation with our Savior, and your pastor or priest. Sometimes, in spite of our best efforts, things don't turn out the way we want them to. That's life.

In this case, pray for guidance, pray for the children and baby. Get to church on Sunday with them all.

Good Luck

Because you're a parent, and you're always going to wonder (no matter how many things you DID say) if there was one other thing you should've said to get that point to stick. There wasn't. Now just help her indoctrinate herself into this new, lifelong club: parenthood. The mother/daughter dynamic will grow significantly as a result of this new bonding platform. good luck to all of you, and Happy Holidays.

you did nothing wrong. you told her everything you needed and she chose to have sex and take that chance. just let her know your their for her but she got herself in the place she is and the child will not be pushed off on you. she is the mother and you are grandma.

You didn't let her down, she let you down. Now let her deal with the ramifications of her actions.
