do your own or help the neighbors down the street?
i like shoveling and was brought up doing the neighbors without question....now i can't even get my own kids out to do mine most of the time, usually because i still feel its my job to do....i'm heading out to do just that right after my coffee and the dogs can't wait....

I shovel up to my neighbors walkway....they are elderly and I cannot sit back and let them do it! On the other hand...I dont do the other neighbor because they are young and they need to get off their lazy butt and shovel!

I live in an apt now, so I don't shovel any snow. However, when I was younger and living at my Mom's, me and my brothers and sister's would shovel ours, our next door neighbors, and any of the elderly people's houses who lived on our block. We loved it, and we loved helping people out.

i usually do just my own. last year i did my neighbors alot cause they were trying to fix up the house to rent it and it was a couple of older women and i felt bad that no one would come shovel for them to get in the hosue to work.

Snow? we're lucky to get one day in february and that's gone in a few hours! Having enuf snow to shovel would be a crimbo dream!

i only do my drive way i don't have side walks to shovel
when i go out my neighbors drive way is already clean and shoveled

bring the kids out with you they need to learn that phycical work is important. my father always made me shovel now l shovel and help the nieghbors too.

I only shovel if my fiance won't. But since we live in apartment, it benefits our neighbors, too.

A while back I use to do do neighbors sidewalk but now I do my own only. Don't over exert yourself

I've always gone down the sisewalk as far as I could before I got too cold. You need to make your kids get off their games and TV sets and learn what it means toearn their luxerys.
