I can see for a fact that rainbows end on the ground, with my own eyes, but whenever I chase it I'm always a second too late, can anyone tell me if they've actually made it to where a rainbow meets the ground and if so what's it like? I reckon it must be a surreal experience.

a rainbow is the light reflecting back in the moisture, it manifests in all colors possible, when you get close to it you stop seeing it because of the angle you are, the light no longer reflects directly to your eyes, at the same time that you are standing where the rainbow is, somebody else might be able to still see it if he or she is far from you.

When viewing a rainbow you're seeing the reflection of sun on the raindrops.It requires a certain distance for this optical illusion to be effective,regardless of the speed at which you travel ,the end of the rainbow will be out of reach.
If you do find the end,however,can I share the pot of gold.

You can't get to the end of rainbow. It's just an illusion caused by light reflecting water. So it may appear to be touching the ground but it's not.

Sorry, rainbows are formed when water reflects light. All colors are reflected, they arent really there though man. Sorry to put a damper on your hopes and dreams!

You can't ever get there. Rainbows are too smart for that. And so are leprechauns. They know they have to protect their gold, or else their economy would drop drastically.
