I had to when I was 32 because of a Nasty Divorce and an Unfair and Unrealistic JudgeJob Before the divorce was final I had to move in with My parents for a while. I was Paying 265.00 a week in Child Support which was suppose to cover Shelter-Food-Clothes for my Kids No Problem i didnt want My Kids to go without--But Judge ordered me to also pay 75.00 a week In Maintenance to go toward the House Payment So much for the Shelter part of the Child Support--Then I had to Keep up the Car Payments for her!!! and was Ordered to Pay for Back to School Clothes--SO much for the Clothes part of the Child Support--So on the 1 week of the Month my employer took out my Union Dues I had a WHOLE $9.00 left over for myself!!!!. So I moved in for about 4 Months until the divorce was finalized and the Maintenance and car Payment dropped off!!!!

Sorry, can't agree with you. I'm 34 and it would take an act of God to make me move back in with my parents. I left at 18 and I only go back for visits. If you aren't on your own feet by now something is wrong..Of course that's only my opinion..

Your friend is definitely not alone - many people are in that same situation. Personally, I would be apalled if I was to have needed help supporting myself after age 22 or so. My sister in law is in her 40s and still has many of her bills paid by her parents, and they are NOT well off themselves. I just don't think there is an excuse for that.

I think your friend's parents will be very happy that their child has returned to their love care. I'm 28 years old and some time back i also moved back to my parents' place with my 2 daughters (thou the house is too small to accomodate the 3 of us)cos i had a big quarrel with my husband over his infidelity. My parents welcomed me back with warmth and love. Parents are always there for us when we need them.

Well i am 44 and my mother and I share ownership in a house, she has her half i have mine...I love my mother, she is my best friend and we even vacation together. We both have money so it wasn't a i have to move in, i wanted to...I am glad i choose to come back, we will be traveling alot, Hawaii in a few months shhhhhhh dont tell her its a surprise LOL
Now if your friend moved back because of financial reasons, tell him not to feel bad...Tell him to get his stuff together and one day he can get his own place again and do something really nice for his parents for helping out...Family should be there for each other....Our house is always open if family is in need...

Nooooo!! i think i'd rather jump off a bridge... and apparently ones who have moved back gave excuses..you make excuses for something when you have made a mistake or feel like you are in the wrong.....although most of us are welcomed home why would you go?..You set out in the world only to go back home? evreything i've read is an excuse so far
