Two things."Financial need" and "For pleasure".Off course, the present scenario, consists of mostly women from the first category i.e;financial need, but the second category of womens, is also increasing nowadays at a fast pace. Working women, have their own advantages and disadvantages. The advantages are, that the women becomes independant and does not have to depend on others. The combined salary packet of husband and wife, brings in stability and well being in a family.Their quality of life improves as their joint income can provide for better amenities and services. The ill effects are obviously far reaching on the family life. The women is unable to devote much time or attention to the family. The Childrens are the worst sufferers since they remain neglected and unable to develop strong family bonds, due to lack of affection from their mothers. Such families disintigrate very easily in later years. The women being independent, and equal to the husband, looses respect for him and his authority, giving rise to uncalled for quarrels leading to divorces and breakups. The women is more prone to develop relations outside her marriage ,due to oppurtunities available to her.

In these days, it's a necessity in most cases. Moreover, a woman sitting at home having ability to do something herself , should be encouraged. This gives her some self respect and a feeling of having her own identity. The future is always uncertain for anyone. Why not engage herself in whatever she is good at.I think it's good practice.

I dont think anybody forces women to work, they decide themselves, and nothing wrong with that

It is better for economy as more people earn more they will spend.

For family...Do expect many divorces....USA as example. Every 2nd person in USA is divorced.

They work to pay the taxes, pure and simple.
If women quit their jobs and stayed home, our tax base would decrease so dramatically that the economy would collapse.

couples living beyond their means. let's face it......you don't need beemers in the driveway, you don't need a mortgage of $2-3 thousand a month. men and women have to start realizing they are working just to "have things". they truly are not enjoying themselves with their "toys". they don't have time, they are always working to pay for everything. now you start having kids. so you are going to pay a stranger $500 a month to "raise" YOUR kids?! reduce your materialistic wants and you can stay home.
