Yet our news and many in YA can only find fault, repeating the montra over and over of how oppressive and evil this country is in an effort to persuade us to hate our own country and life in general...are we starting to reap the results of this consent bombardment of negativity? Have the lib montra created a sociaty that is soft both physically and mentally?
Seems like the whiny babies among us have decided to lethally arm themselves and take out their post-pubescent “nobody likes me” rage on innocent people in schools, shopping malls and now . . . churches.
example:Matthew Murray, a twenty-four-year-old pathetic toad.
Murray grew up in rather harsh conditions. Yep, it seems that young Matt was living at home with his mommy and his neurosurgeon daddy in the lap of luxury in an opportunity-rich environment. Wow. Who could handle all that stress?!? That’s enough to make any of us snap.

In addition, I’ve just heard that there were three more major reasons why he was so incensed:

1. His parents wouldn’t let him have the Playboy Channel on his 96” plasma TV (unconfirmed).

2. They limited his text messaging to 200,000 texts per month (unconfirmed).

3. YWAM rejected him three years ago from being a part of their organization for health reasons.

Is it the liberal message enhenced by the liberal media that is turning our young people soft..making them feel oppressed and treated unfairly when in fact we've had it so good for so long that we should feel blessed, not oppressed.

You know, it is the gimme, gimme, gimme attitude that so many parents instill in those protective bubbles they create for their children that leave many young adults totally incapable of dealing with the real world and Matthew is a perfectly good example of how and why it doesn't work.

Self-entitlement is the ugliest character trait we can allow to flourish within our children.

Work, responsibility and boundaries have always been necessary to building strong minds and stress resistance among our youth.

The outsourcing of our Military was orchestrated by the Republicans, spearheaded by the Chief Azzhat, Newt Gingrich. As soon as we had a Republican President and the American public all neurotic over 9-11, we took the bait and allowed the former CEO of Halliburton, the company who the war was outsourced to, start a completely unnecessary war in Iraq. How convenient! Yes, it's a sham, we've been fugged over and I TOLD YOU ALL SO, but no one wanted to listen! I COMPLETELY agree with RKO on all points! Ike warned us of the Industrial Military complex and we IGNORED him! Does everyone know that the Pentagon was NOT meant to be there permanently? It was built only for use during WWII. We are now a country committed to permanent war!

...A friend of mine has noticed changes in the students that were born after the 1960's. There is more selfishness and I suspect more a "victim" mentality. And more people nuzzle at the teat of federal subsidies and handouts. This encourages laziness, and also serves to buy votes for "career" politicians.

re Omaha and others
from link:

What seems like an epidemic of mass killings finally reached the middle of the nation, the massa-cre striking us dead center in the city's midsection.

It finally happened here. Virginia Tech, Columbine. The Amish school in Pennsylvania. Mall shootings in Salt Lake City; Tacoma, Wash.; and Kingston, N.Y. The list goes on. And now the sad and shocking list includes Omaha. But if it seems like an epidemic of mass violence, the fact is that the numbers don't vary much from year to year -only the loca-tions do.

"It's not happening more, and it's not happening less," said James Alan Fox, professor of criminal justice at Northeastern University in Boston. "Each year, on average, there are a couple of dozen cases of mass murder. It's just something that happens with some regularity -fortunately, not high regularity. But that's no solace to the victims."....
"More often than not," Fox said, "they see themselves as victims of injustice. They seek vengeance against people they blame. They tend to be loners and losers, people who failed at work or at home. They externalize blame. A lot of us, when things go wrong, blame ourselves -whereas these individuals always blame someone else."

Sometimes, he said, it starts with a specific grudge - a job or relationship gone bad, and a desire to get even. Along the way, the shooter may kill others. They tend to use guns because guns create distance.

"It's a lot easier to stand back, pull a trigger and shoot people without having any contact with them." Identifying mass killers in ad-vance, he said, is like trying to finding the proverbial needle in the haystack. "It's a very large haystack that fits the profile of mass killers," Fox said, "but a small set of nee-dles who go through the process of arming themselves and shooting people."

Yes, all the Mexican immigrants I work with, who only have green cards, come here and send for their relatives to reap all the benefits our governments give to people whi immigrate to the USA. Then, when they retire, they go back to their own country where you only have to pay taxes on your home the first year you buy it.That is one of the problems that is wrong with the USA.

At one time the U.S.A. was a great country of opportunity. It still is a great country but, major problems combined with the leaders unable or unwilling to deal with the problems has lost this country's greatness. Example: manufacturing jobs being sent overseas while business and political leaders reaps hugh profits, leaving "americans" out in the cold.

How do you know? How have you taken advantage of this UNTOLD opportunity?

My family came here from another country long time ago. And yes it once was that. We came here in 1972 and my parents were able to buy a small store for $7,000 (probably about $50,000 in current $$$). This was in NYC. Now you can't open a store for less than 1/2 million dollar and the rent goes for $10,000 for a space the size of my dinky bedroom. In NYC the economy is fairly doing well, yet you see closed stores every where because the land lords want 90% of the profits.

Trying going to another country (like Australia or Norway) before making such bold statement.

Good Luck with your personal education.

Absolutely. Liberalism stresses 3 things that bring about misery, softness, and/or arrogance.

A. Dependence.

B. Victimhood.

C. Elitism

By channeling these attitudes, you become a liberal depending on your socio-economic background.

NO its our, video games and games like war craft that have forced us to leave children alone at home so mommy and daddy can work some dead head job, to buy a new crappy car with big notes, over priced homes, oh health care oh can insurance, oh work nights, oh ulitiy bills, oh that 500.00 cell phone oh the web on the phone oh text message oh chrome 20" wheels like the drug dealers have.

Not the media, the mass advertising they leave out the part that says you have to PAY for ALL this STUFF

Now kids don't have good lives they have cameras all over watching them.
People that do that come from all walks of live, just like drunks & drug addicts

It won't be anymore if we let the Liberals control it! Hellary wants Socialism, no matter how many Liberals try and say she and they don't. Look at the "new" kinds of government they want for this great country....Universal Health-Care.....ever heard of a nation that isn't Socialist, having Universal Health-Care?....and National ID Cards? Those aren't meant for FREEDOM, they're meant to find you, if you don't do as you're told! That's CONTROL!
