Actually I have 2 good answers for that one. I had fallen asleep on the papasan couch in my sister's apartment. Early in the morning I was awakened by this barely heard, tiny little girl voice saying, "Aunt isis, are you awake?" I opened my eyes to see 4 year old Kathy's big grey eyes about 2 inches in front of my face. She was this little tiny pixie of a girl, the most fey and femmie creature ever raised by 2 butch dykes, and with 3 rough and tumble older brothers, that you could ever see. Haven't seen her in years and I wonder if her moms ever got her into anything other than a frilly dress.

The other incident happened maybe 3 decades ago and the dream that awakened me is still clear in my mind. I was swimming underwater in a pool. (And I can't even swim!) As I got close to the surface, I swam right into some one else above me, the top of my head crashing into the bottoms of their feet. What's weird, beside the dream being so clear, was that I couldn't get it out of my mind for two days. The next day I was at school and a heavy table fell out of its place where it was folded up into the wall and smashed me right on top of my head, exactly where my dreamself had hit the other person's feet. Too weird to forget.

As a child a nightmare. As an adult, I was staying at the Cesar hotel and casino in Las Vegas, when the fire alarm in my room woke me up. I was up 10-12 floors and had to walk down the stairs as the elevators were not in use. It was very loud and rang forever. I couldn't think clearly. Everybody in the hotel evacuated to outside. I never did see any fire but that was a weird experience right out of a deep sleep.

The floor! I was sleeping in a bunk bed - on the top bunk and rolled out while I was asleep and I was dreaming I was falling and then I woke up a second or two before I hit the floor! That was fun!! Not!

The phone rang and I thought it was the alarm going off. I'm laying there looking puzzled at the alarm clock. I tried to move my heavy numbed arm to stop the alarm. Until I finally woke up to reality. Amazing & embarrasing how I couldn't tell the difference between "beep beep" and "ring ring".

I closed the door at the back of me yet not each and each of how. I heard a "click" yet did not think of something of it till I went to close the cellular door returned. The door grew to become into now locked. fortuitously i did not close the concern each and each of how. it is one extraordinary place.
